real alternative 1.34 tweaking

    I am using XP Home, Firefox 1.0.2, and Real Alternative 1.34 with a 256Kbps DSL modem.

    The video clips look great when they are playing, but get interrupted every 7-12 sec for buffering. Is there any way to change the buffer size with this or tweak it in some way? or is this a limitation I have to live with? I know very little about customizing software.
