Real audio ?

Hello, had Real Alternative installed, also wmc. Have been able to play and copy to a cd. These are ram, ra files, some of the music when automatically goes into my files as wave, so when in as Real, which I converted to wave using dmcPowerAmp.

In the past few days one of the artist's songs that I have listened to now, when I click on to play gives me "cannot render file". I am perlexed about this since I was able to play those songs without a problem.

I am wondering if there is something in the real alternative file or the wmedia classic file that is not working, and should I delete both and then reinstall.

I many filters and codecs installed so I don't know if one of those that I need has been deleted.

Sound question, when I record and burn a cd, there is a fair amount of background noise which distorts the song that is playing. Are there settings in the sound system while recording and burning a cd that needs lowered.

If someone can give me a clue, I would appreciate it.
