Real Bad FPS

y am i geting this..i have bad fps on every game: (C&C Renegade, Battlefield 1942, Ut 03, call of duty and a bunch others) I have: 2.6Ghz (Celeron) Prossessor, 512 Ram(2100), 128mb ATI 3D Card (Radeon 9200), Lastest Drivers, Direct X 9.0c..i get like 20 or less FPS on LOWEST setting/Resulution...Please tell me y this is happining? This is only playing OFFline,don't get me started online...!

 

Basically...its a crappy video card; your processor has outdated technology no matter how fast they make them and i believe celerons have a smaller L2 cache... Memory on a old video card doesnt mean squat.

Could be What i just mentioned or you computer is filled with malware/spyware and or running tons of processes in the taskbar and background.Here you go.

Could also be old mobo drivers / oudated buggy BIOS

 

HOWEVER,

I also have a 9200 and can play UT03, CoD, and BF1942 with no graphic lag on high settings. The celeron here, i believe, is causing most of your problems. It would also help if you could double your ram to 1gig.

Also, to what omega posted about spyware, how long has it been since you defragged? also, before you play, turn off your virus scanner.

 

Yeah....i have no spyware....and i defraged um...2 months ago if you have NO lag i atleast should be close to you... i have notised that when i play with bots it's un playable but when i start local mutliplayer games with no bots faster but still only about 20-30 fps on medium..what prossesor do you have?

you're 9200 isn't a 9200 SE, is it?
