real player icon in dads control panel

dad wanted me to remove real player from his computer cause noone ever uses it and its taking up space so i removed it its gone except for the real player icon in dads control panel that refuses to go away i tryed deleting it by right clicking it but there was no way to delete it i even tryed to move it to the recycling bin but it wont move and i cant even rename it

i tryed clicking on it to see if it worked and it doesnt work how do i get rid of this annoying thing

oh no i put this in the wrong forum can somebody please move it to the right one

Get yourself Powertoys for Xp and install the TweakUI component, once installed and run click the Control Panel menu and you can remove it from their ( not at my PC so typing from memory, so their maybe other ways to do this eg. CCleaner )

knew you'd end up saying that

TweakUI for 9x versions including ME
http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=226 ( the tweakUI method will only hide it not remove it ) so use the below method to remove on a perminent basis.

but another option is hunt for the .cpl file for realplayer, most likey found in C:\windows\system32 under the name of "prefscpl.cpl" but do right click > properties to double check or copy and paste it to another location just to make sure.
