Real Tech Net feature

My Real Tech networking card feature does not work on my PCV-RZ20C Sony desktop puter. I cannot get on the the internet. I have verified my modem connection is good. This is network appliance is located omn the mother board. How can I fix this mother board? Part number would help.

Yes I have PCI#3 Slot available. I may have to remove my Moden Card but I don't use it.

 

Go ahead then as that is often the issue, even in these days of PnP, instead of worrying about interrupt signals, it's happened to me. You could always try your moden card in another slot, or would that be a 'modem card' for telephony 56K?

 

Yes, the modem card I am removing is the telephony 56K modem device.

I ordered a TRENDnet Gigabit PCI Adapter Card TEG-PCITXR or StarTech.com 1 Port Low Profile PCI 10/100 Mbps Ethernet Network Adapter Card (ST100SLP) to try. I wonder if there are any software conflicts with the existing. Thanks for your responses.
