When trying to watch a video or some thing like on you-tube.If you have noticed on your mouse icon the little annoying blue circle with start it self. This is the Real-Time Protection taking up resources like cpu for what ever reason.

Windows defender is good all and dandy but i prefer to scan my self.

There is a option in group policy editor that allows you to disable this option.

But the main issue with this is.Real-Time Protection will turn it self back on after so many hours. With out asking you.I prefer to have it off because not only is it annoying when trying to watch some thing using web browser. But it continuously try's to scan when watching some thing. And it's taking up cpu mainly the whole time.

I prefer to scan my self when i feel the need too.

Windows Defender is a trip. It will be "silent" for hours until I start to do two things at once like play a game and listen to music then it decides it is a great time for a scan. Good antivirus, lousy timing on scans.
