really annoying

i searched around and i couldnt really find a problem like this so i apoligize if i missed it
ok so both my internet explorer and firefox have no internet backgrounds which i can do without but alot of buttons dont show up either.. now niether of those is the really annoying thing on a few of my most visited websites the text is huge , now it not just big its freaking huge and i can never find where to sign in and when i do everything is either overlapping or just unviewable..
i tried the maleware removel, but thats really only made my computer faster (which is nice)
please help
