    Hey Guys,
This is really bugging. My computer seems to go into sleep mode everytime i push spacebar.
    Specs: here
I haven't done anything to the settings and I mean ANYTHING to make this happen. I got home a few hours ago and turned my computer on and did a few things(check here for one) and I went to download Mint from a post by mcsmc. And while downloading it my computer randomly went into sleep mode. Cancelled it thinking I'd do it later and it went to sleep again. Went into power options and set it to not go to sleep after so long(default thing for 30minutes>>Never). So I went to play a game and everytime I try and type it'll work until I hit spacbar then randomly back to sleep. :cry Could this be a virus? The only setting I've ever changed would be the power setting I just mentioned. Scaning with Malwarebytes as we speak.
    Thanks,
    Spock96

I will mention to you that to me it is best not to run a program like that where you must pay to stay protected. If you let the subscription expire, then you lose the protection. Where if you do the research and get one of the MG shareware/freeware programs, then that will never be a problem. This was just from MY point of view.

Malwarebyte's AntiMalware is useful as a scanning tool. Yes, to get real-time protection, you need to buy the software, and there's free alternatives. Just because it doesn't provide real-time protection doesn't mean the scanning tool isn't COMPLETELY worth it!:)

Well, What would you guys suggest for real-time malware protection? I'm running a copy of Avast as my AV.

Hands down, Malwarebytes. You pay for real time protection but it is worth the money. It has prevented both me and my husband from going to unsafe sites found through google search. We are both safe surfers but anyone can go to a rogue site and not know it.
It is possible to over ride MBAM's restrictions but I rarely do this.
