Realplayer, Multimedia Audio Controller.

Further to my problems of a few days ago, (thanks for the help GLS!), I decided to bite the bullet and have a real go on my own!
So I cleaned off my hard drive completely, re- partitioned it, did a clean install of XP Pro, and then went through the laboriuos (for me) task of re-loading everything. After several restarts and lots of patience, I now have a system that seems to be performing well.
Well that is apart from two little things which are sending me loopy!
1. Every time I boot I get a message saying "New Harware Found-- Multimedia Audio Controller" -- How do I get rid of this as I dont seem to need it? I have tried deleting it in Device Manager, and "cancelling" it on the start screen.
2. Each time I open AOL (yeah I know), Iget asked if I wish to install Realplayer. I have got rid of every reference I can find to Realplayer, but it still keeps coming back. Is it part of AOL? How do I stop it?

Apart from these two, I am qite "chuffed" with myself for getting this far!!!

System:- Windows XP Pro, Athlon xp 2600+, 512 Mg ram, 80 gig H/D.

Thanks for the help. Robo. Realplayer is now just lurking in the background, and I found that it was my sound card that would not load the drivers, so it now resides in the bucket marked " Awaiting suckers with too much money" j/k.
Again you blokes have turned up trumps, so if you ever have a tank that wont start, just give me a yell!!
