RealPlayer Says Im Not Online

I have installed and upgraded and reinstalled RealPlayer and every time it tells me that I'm not online. I have DSL and AM online. It says to check my internet connections and I have and those same connections work with Windows Media Player just fine. What's up with RealPlayerNetworks message?

Is that what I have to do every time?
Heck, why would I ever want to switch from Media Player then?
I guess I'll just use WMP and then jump through the (checking/unchecking) hoops when I get a file that requires RealPlayer.

Do you have permissions granted for RealPlayer toconnect to the internet through your firewall?? I had similar problem and Zone Alarm was not configured correctly. Just my 2 cents.

 

I used to have ZoneAlarm until I got a router.
I'll try RealAlternative too
