Realtek ac97 audio problem

hi im new to this forum and i have problem about my laptop my laptop is gateway mx6440. after reading the recent post i just discover i got a similar problem by i think mine is terrible. i already downloaded all the drivers that gateway provided for my laptop, lucky video and motherboard and even the wireless work. but my audio and etc didnt work. i cant connect to the internet coz i believe that there are important driver missing. i did try all possible way to install the driver but it didnt work. i really need the audio if someone knows where i can download the right driver for my audio i will be glad. and i hope gateway will provide one for situation like this. this is the sound driver i downloaded from the gateway site. (D00377-002-001.exe)

additional question i already download the modem driver not just more than once from the gateway site but i really wonder after doing the said instruction it will read like 5 scnds and nothing happens yet the instruction says that there will be a loading screen after u copy paste this from run (D00411-001-001.exe) is this broken? anyone tried it?

pls help me ive been looking for 2 days and im still empty of information

why don't you run everest and attach a hardware report. it will help alot more.
