I have built my system and bought this motherboard which was suggested to me by a few people P5GC-MX/1333. The problem I have is I dont have any sound. I first installed all of the drivers for the motherboard and then I installed all the SP up to SP3. Now I have no sound and am unable to select in the control panel>sound menu. I finally went and downloaded the newer drivers and uninstalled the old drivers only to have the new drivers not want to install. I read up on that problem and had to disable the microsoft UAA bus drivers to finally get the r191 version of realtek to install. Once I had them installed I still couldnt select an audio device but I cold get sound to come from the Realtek program. Nothing else will play sound. One site even said to revert back to SP2 in order to fix this problem. Ive tried just about everything I can get my hands on and have little or no luck. ANY help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi

Try the driver for audio that ASUS list for your model mobo as at times the unified drivers cause issues as many OEMs specify custom builds to chips from Realtek

    is Chipset driver installed?

If any yellow ! marks in Device Manager please list them?
