Realtek Driver Update Failed On Sound Manager

I installed Realtek's updated version 6.0.8186 and encountered the same problem that apparently many others have and you can just put up a search engine and find the forums of the same complaint resulting to Sound Manager does not open or function in the capacity as when it did in the older drivers version, that I am surrendering to reverting back to the version before this one, if I can't get this one to work. I followed the instructions as the guy who did the video (here-or Major Geeks) and tried reinstalling a number of times-now. I probably have duplicative drivers sitting on computer. But repeating the process of doing the same thing over, there still is nothing coming through for opening this Sound manager or audio controller dashboard, whatever. And another tech or from other forum said it wasn't necessary to update sound drivers when and if the other version worked, just revert back to it because as I say, a lot of people found the same frustration.
So, if there's any information on how I can connect whatever to open Sound manager or Audio Controller, whatever fits please input.
