I have downloaded and installed the ethernet drive for Vista from Lenovo due to I can get on the net with the USB cable to the modem, but not a ethenet cord. My system manager doesn't list the realtek as a driver either. I've removed it and reinstalled it and it still is not picking it up. How can I get on the PC to connect to my modem with the ethernet.

    Thanks

double check that you have realtek as an ethernet option
use everest to run a hardware report and double check the make of it. you can also put in your lenovo/ibm product number into their site and it will list the available drivers.

If none of the suggestions above work out, please post your PC make and model, and attach an Everest report to the post. Everest is a free tool (download from this link) that can generate a hardware/software report and save it as a .TXT file (how-to generate and save the report info at this link). Then use the steps in this guide to attach the report to your next post.....
    :-D
