Realtek HDA driver problem

Hi, Im using win7 x64. when i install any game and after reset windows says no sound device found. I have solved it one time before by reinstalling audio drivers and directx but this time it didnt help. Can anybody help me?

 

If you go to Google and type in realtek high def audio it will take you to Realtek and I saw download for Win7 64. Two types of download methods, one is zip and the other was to a log file. Check it out as this might be what you are looking for.
I did this for my Vista Home Premium/32 to update my driver.

 

i have R2.40 already installed. it didnt help. windows audio service is turned on, everything is installed properly. after some start sound is ok and after another start it is not. I have no idea what to do.

 

This is terrible. When i uninstall nVidia drivers sound is running. I did what you recommended me (uninstall realtek and nvidia drivers) When(both were uninstalled) i have installed the realtek and restarted. Sound wasnt ok. Then installed nvidia and restarted-sound wasnt ok. So i uninstalled the nvidia drivers and didnt restart sound was ok. Im little bit confused.

The shutdown and start helped. But Im worried about next few starts. Windows installed software for realtek HD audio and everything is ok. If it goes wrong you will see my new post Thank you a lot

 

S**t... sorry about this. My appology is that im noob I hope this time i sent it sucessfully. But after i installed Colin McRae Rally 05 it is here again. Only help is to uninstall nvidia and realtek drivers and install them again. And not forgot to shutdown!

 

I have laptop Acer Aspire 5930G it has intel PM45 Express chipset. Name of the motherboard is acer eiger.

 

i installed intel chipset software installation utility but system not recognizes chipset model. everest says unknown chipset and motherboard model

 

Yes I mean inf from intel website. In device manager there are no Sound, Video and Game Controllers. Sound worked for few days because nvidia hd audio drivers worked but few restarts and sound is gone again. after instalation of intel inf system still dont recognizes chipset. Im starting to think that i must reinstal system without being connected to internet(prevent windows downloading drivers) install intel inf and then everything else

 

yes. link you post is the same what i alleady have installed. But the installation with options you recomended me is really very suspicious and fast.

 

So i have the older acer inf installed. Everest still dont know the the name of chipset and what is amazing sound is here agan. after shut down and boot up windows found microsoft driver. I worry about next few resets. Windows is up to date.

 

It worked long but next game installation and few restarts stopped sound working. It made me mad so i formated and reinstalled windows. First thing i installed was intel chipset driver and then realtek sound driver. NOTHING happened no sound. I was furious and formated again and installed XP PRO x86. But of course sound is not working again. Ive tried many kinds of solutions from other threads but they hepled till next reset. After reset it doesnt work again. Can you help me looking for solution or better can you solve this?

 

Only help is Microsoft UAA driver. After installation was found new hardware realtek hd audio (it helped only 1 time) so i installed realtek driver and reset. When windows was shutting down it sounded its shutdown sound. After reboot sound wasnt working and in device manager realtek hd audio device isnt shown. Windows audio service is started and set to automatic.
