Realtek onboard LAN Driver problem

hi.. my problemis with an asrock MB model 945GCM-S with Realtek OB lan 8102EL
I am running either winXP or Linux cd
when using xp i have no connection to outside world.. the bios has OB lan active, the windows diagnostic gives this result.. nb may include info for WiFi.. I cannot connect with that either.
Now.. heres the weird part.. If I use my Linux Live cd.. no problems.. I can log on using the same hardware.

I have.. downloaded latest drivers, no change.. un installed and re installed the lAN in Hardware section, but still not working IP config shows IP,Subnet, Gateway but no DNS.. I cant remember if it should. DNS is entered correctly in the properties box..

It was working fine a few days ago, but now on the fritz..
