Thanks in advance for your answers. I Am trying to help a friend with a "problem???" and I want to give him the right answer! He said that the power went off and when that come back his computer give the message "not boot device accesible". This could it be the HD itself or the boot sector get corrupted???

Does BIOS detect the hard drive? With the information you've provided, we cannot tell whether the hard drive or the operating system is not being detected.
