    G'day
I'm going to purchase a second monitor in about 3 weeks, and I was hoping someone might recommend a good monitor for video playback. I'm mostly considering a CRT, definitely, as they are cheaper than an LCD counter-part. My brother has a flat screen CRT, and that's what I'm looking at getting. I will be using it for video editing initially, and also for watching movies and tv, and it will be a second monitor for this system, (I already have an AOC LCD 17inch as my monitor).
I'd like to get a 21/22 inch Flat Screen CRT ideally for about $400-500.

Can anyone suggest a good brand/model, or reasons I should get a different one perhaps?
    Thanks in advance, Monty

In the video editing labs I've worked in we have always had ViewSonics, and at the local gaming cafe too. If it were me I would definetly go ViewSonic.

Personally, I like NEC, but Viewsonic and Samsung are also great brands of monitors.
