Ok so I make YouTube videos and so recording voice is a big deal. I went out and bought a new laptop and Im having problems.

I cant record audio? In sound in the control panel and under recording devices (where it shows the levels of your mic) I have to hit my laptop hard to get it to move up 2/3 bars out of the 10. When I just talk the bars struggle to go up 1 bar!

Its a Sony Vaio Model Number: VPCEH1L0E with Windows 7 and it has the conexant hd audio installed if that helps.

Ive googled this problem and it appears a few have had the same issue but I cant find a solution or a solution that works for me.

All drivers appear updated as they can be.

Does anyone have any help for me?
