I have been recording speeches onto my laptop with audacity and then putting the speech on CD's.
I was wondering if there is a way to Record straight to the CD's instead of to the HD & then burning onto a CD?confusedconfused (like we used to record straight to a cassette tape). If so how and what I need to do this.
Thanks in advance for you help & time

Sure, you need packet writing software for this.

There are several. Roxio makes one called DirectCD(I think it has a new name now). Ahead (nero) makes one called InCD. There is also one called abCD.

Any packet writing software should work, but let me add a warning: Other systems may not be able to read it without the software, or a UDF reader installed.
