    hi have just tried two free programs that are supposed to record anything that goes through the sound card
    both programs, the output folders showed content but when played back was silent.
    also the progs had wma wav mp3 settings tried all
    do i need to reconfigure my or do i need another driver
    my present driver is REALTEK AC97 AUDIO

    please help
