Recover C

My drive is partioned into 2 sections as Fat32 with all my opertaing stuff and documents on C and a few files and recovery data on D.

I have loads of rubbish that needs clearing on C along with some viruses and spyware that I am struggling to remove. Can I use the Acer recovery function to restore the factory settings on C without it affecting D?

If yes, would this remove the viruses on C. Or alternatively can I just reformat the C partition and reload windows and again have the data on D left in place?

Then if virus and Spyware s your problem, why dont you post your problem in MALWARE section, they are the best guyz here when it comes in that matter

Thanks, I have done that aswell but was thinking it was about time I reloaded my OS or reformated.
