Recover Photos~!

just upgraded from win 7 to 10...HATE IT! that said....just transferred photos from camcard to a folder on desktop "new folder". used "move to" instead of copying, now I cant FIND those photos! looked in new folder - nothing; looked back in the DCIM folder on camcard - nothing. these are important photos!

anyone know how to get them back? have searched with different wording on "this pc" - nothing shows, checked every place I can think of....cant find.

Give it some time. Most people said the same then when they moved from Windows 95 to Windows 98. Again when they moved to XP. And again when they moved to W7.

W10 really is a great OS, and more importantly, it is inherently more secure than W7.

If, after giving yourself some time to get acclimated to it, you find you still prefer the way W7 looked and felt, check out Start10. It brings back W7's familiar start button and menu, as well as W7's desktop. It is what I use on this W10 system.

It has a 30 day free trial period. If you don't like it, it uninstalls completely without complaining. If you do like, it only cost $5 for a lifetime license. One of the best $5 I ever spent.

 

Yeah, Open Shell is another alternative and it is free. I tried it and it is nice too. I just like Start10 better.
