Recover upperfilter and lowerfilter HELP

I been having a problem with my disc drive. I listened to microsoft and deleted the upperfilter and lowerfiler but they didnt tell me to make a back up. Is there a way i can get those 2 regisry files back?

Reinstall your CD/DVD burning apps will put them back in.

Backing them up should be second nature with computers. If you change something, back it up first. Be it files, registry entires, etc.

 

I tried that already, but i'm not sure if i did it right i uninstalled sonic mydvd then reinstalled it but that didnt seem to do the trick and i cant system restore either because it wont let me go back far enough

 

Sonic dvd is only part of that program, you will need to uninstall everything related to Sonic. ed

 

do i just go to add or remove programs and do it there?
