Recovering Deleted Files...

    i accidentally deleted a music folder a few days ago that had about 7 albums worth of music that i had ripped off CD's... are there any programs I could use to help me retrieve the folder????

    check your Recycle Bin if you are still not empty it
    I often use norton undelete utility at dos but it is not sure because they have been deleting for some days ago if they have been up by other programs

    If you have a choice, don't install any more programs on the same drive as the files that you deleted your music are on. Install it on another partition if you have one. The more you install on the same partition, the less chance you have of recovering deleted files. Bazza

    I've used Restorer 2000 quite extensively. It does a pretty darn good job if you're willing to pay for it. There one version for NTFS only which is cheaper but I'd get the full version if you need to do data recovery on a semi-regular basis. You'll find that it pays for itself in no time. Does a fair job on lost filesystems too. As long as it can see the physical drive you can scan it.
