recovering from RAW to ntfs

hi all ...

im new to majorgeeks

this is my problem

i have 2 drives one is 120gb and the other is 40gb
after saving all important files to the 40gb one i formated te 120gb
when i got the system back to work ... the 40 gb one was in a RAW
file system and now it seems i lost everything on it.

is there a way to change the file system back to ntfs without loosing the data or to recover it ?

It cannot be done (RAW -> NTFS without losing data).
I don't want this to sound like an advertisment but I had the same issue a while ago and among all recovery tools the only one that actaully helped was FileScavenger 3. Recovered ALL my data from RAW disk.

 

actually ... i did it . i used stellar phoenix software and i got everything back.
it didnt work the first time for me becuse some files where not recognized ... like word files and some others ...
but after i installed the programs to open these files everything seems to be ok ... this stellar phoenix is a great program
