The stroke hit my memory hard, I can no longer remember password I thought I would never forget! Specifically my google email password, and my google account, which is two different things

Hotmail seem to have deleted their web mail access an insist on using Outlook, which I want no part of. Hotmail was my emergency email contact, and I have lost the ability to use that too.

    Help?

I think you are out of luck.
There is no way to get a google email password. You can go here
    gmail.jpg
and click Forget email. If you did not give a phone number or a recovery email that you can get to, then your account is gone.

Please explain what you mean by "google account".

Hotmail still has a web mail access; it is here
    https://outlook.live.com/owa/
You sign in with @hotmail.com, @live.com or @outlook.com, whichever one of the three is your email extension. They all work.

    OP means this -
    It's at https://myaccount .google.com/ Capture.PNG
I've put a dummy space in after account to prevent it being a live link

I finally got into hotmail, and broke the log jam. Thank you for the help.

When I open my google account, it is exactly the same user and I suspect password as my gmail.
Am I missing something? How else would I log in except using my gmail username and password?
This seems to support my theory that it is the same

To sign in to your Google Account (or any Google product):
    1. Go to the sign in page of the product (for Google Accounts it is myaccount.google.com).
    2. Enter your Gmail username (everything that appears before '@gmail.com').
    3. Enter your password.

My gmail and Google accounts have different passwords. I suspect this comes about if ever you change your email password as I have done a few times.
