Recovery manager

    After installing a new hard drive I inserted system recovery disk #1 which formated the new hard drive. Then it asked me to insert disk #2 and it started installing original content. My problem is it is stuck on 4% for the last hour. How can I get it working. The disk is clean with no scratches or smug marks. These are the recovery disks I made when the computer was purchased.
    Windows Vista 32 bit.

    HP A6110N
    4G of ram
    Seagate barracuda HD 500G
