recovery partition on emachine

    Hey guys. I'm trying to restore an emachine system using the backup partition on the hard drive. I've tryed F11 at the emachines splash screen to access this recovery. Can I use a software such as Norton Ghost and use the backup partition to restore this system?

    As far as I know, the backup partition on your emachine should only work while using the recovery manager that comes with the computer. Let me know if any other program else can use that backup partition. That would be interesting.
