recycle menu issue

Hi all,

i installed tuneup utilities and eventualy i decided to uninstall it. Now it seems that every trace of 'tuneup' has gone, except for one thing. I cant get rid of the 'Tuneup undeleter' from the recycle bin menu. Any ideas on removing this would be great. Thank you

There are utilities for cleaning the Context Menu, but probably the easiest way is to open regedit, do a search for anything related to the item - don't know your OS, but your path is most likely something similar to this:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers

 

Ok, tried that and eventually i came across the right one and it has now gone. I cant believe how many of the programs files are left behind after an uninstall. Its no wonder computers get bogged down.
