RecycleBin broked

Well I had norton system works and I forgot what happened but it's gone now I think I uninstalled it with mistakes or the uninstaller was broken, can't seem to remember right now. Well it changed the name to "norton protected recycle bin" which doesn't exist anymore and the only way I can open my ercycle bin is by right-clicking and selecting open....Also "unerase wizard" is still on the right-click list but if I try to select it and it doesn't work (because it's gone now) is there anyway I can rename it which will probably make it work or maybe reinstall it?

 

*sigh* I renamed the (default) and the Localized string...and norton protected recycle bin is now named recycle bin but it still seems to be screwed up....And unerase wizard is STILL there....also I meant it was NAV that was installed not norton system works.

Oh yeah thanks anyway.

 

I use Registry cleaners and JV16 like crazy and NAV is so evil...it leaves its tracks....*sigh* I had about 10 registry entries left in there...time to reinstall the little devil...*sigh* I hope this won't be painful, after I uninstalled NAV my computer loaded like 100% faster. With AVG....shows how good it is...

 

Erm my recycle bin will open now Thanks but norton still left unerase wizard and norton protected files under right click menu but they're inaccessible....anwyay I can get those out? Thanks in advance.

 

Do you know any good program to backup the registry?

 

Format and reinstall again lol. At least it better than using back up registry program. If you decide to either reinstall window or restore, do not install Norton systemwork again. You can just install just norton antivirus. You would be able to install antivirus from systemwork cd by browsing the cd and see NAV set up under NAV folder on cd.

 

My recycle bin is better now, I installed NAV and uninstalled it. My computer is relatively fine except a few minor errors I'm trying to overcome I just need to backup the registry to fix recycle bin, I hope...

 

No norton things seem to be there...:-\
