    Hello

I have a recycler problem and I have chased Microsoft for answers without any solution.

I have just replaced a HD and reloaded XP home [ legal copy ]. All works well with the exception off - that when I go into "My Computer" and I click on and try to open up the WD external HD I get the recycler error " Windows cannot find - Recycler\S-0-1-34-100119013-100000646-5973.COM " In the root of the WD HD is a folder - Recycler. Its empty. Should this " Recycler\S-0-1-34-100119013-100000646-5973.COM " be sitting in there?

When I reloaded XP I set the C drive to NTFS. I note that the WD external HD is FAT32. Should I convert the WD drive to NTFS or the C drive back to FAT32. Will lose I data/applications if I do this?

I can access the WD HD ok from explorer without any problems

I have run a registry cleaner and have run Spyware Doctor with anti-virus and my system reports back everything sweet!

    your help appreciated

    regards

    Alan
