CatT I can't follow the rules

what does the "recycler" represent? i have two entries in there -- with long serial number filenames -- with no apparent relationship to w/e is in my recycle bin at any given moment.

is this some sort of "temp delete" (quarantine?) folder related to some other app? one of the various cleaner/AV/AM apps, for example?

    TIA!

Are you talking about the Recycle Bin? What files? What OS are you running? :wave:wave

    Hi

Recycler is the Recycle Bins main repository, in the main its a hidden system folder, and the files in it have this type of code S-1-5-21-1671818100-239186 which are security identifiers for each person that logs onto the PC (could be in some windows versions the hidden admin account etc) some also contain folders from other apps like Visual Basic etc

Best to leave alone this folder and remove your access to it as IIRC even in XP you had to take owenership (would have to double check this) but you definatly do in Vista/Win7, messing with system files is not normally healthy for your PC if you dont know what they do.
