So i was at my computer just doing non graphics intensive stuff (windows picture viewer lol) adn my entire screen went red, not the red like the windows vista red screen of death, darker more redish black no text system unresponsive and I was forced to reboot back into Vista 64bit. The only recent changes were Installing a Radeon 4870 today (it was free lolz) and grabbing tis drivers (cat 9.2) and i Also isntalled TI connect,

Any idea why is red screened is it my graphics card? i jsut installed TI connect

Back into 64bit from what? And did that fix it?

Ummm, the only? Installing a whole new graphics solutions is a HUGE change.

Sure looks like it. I would start by making sure it is fully seated and secured in the slot, and the monitor cable is securely fastened, on both ends. Did you ensure your power supply can support this new card. It if requires additional power connections, ensure they are secure.

If still a problem, uninstall TI Connect and see if the problem goes away.

    Try a different monitor.

Uninstall card and drivers and go back to old solution.

And yes everything is securly connected to my graphics card.

Hmmm, it would seem something about TI Connect does not work. You need to be certain what you run is 64-bit compliant - I note on the TI Connect page it says,
