Redirect my Internet startup home page

    Hi guys.
    When I start my Internet connection it tries to connect to www.google.pt but suddenly it appears a blank page saying it's not available and the connection goes to "http://a-search.biz/?wmid=1010".
    Any help to overcome this problem?

    I have an antivirus installed and updated.
    As I have an ADSL modem I was not able to do an online virus scan.
    I runned McAffe AVERT Stinger, in safe mode... and I still have the same problem.

    Are you trying to say the drivers for you ADSL modem do not load in safe mode and thus you cannot get online in safe mode? If so, run the online scans in normal mode and then run the rest of the steps in that READ ME thread.
