Redirected to http://portal.soul-gate.net/ at startup

I work at a college where I see just about every problem around. Has anybody seen this problem: At startup, Netscape opens up and goes to the page http://portal.soul-gate.net/ at startup. It slows the computer down and installs WebSearch and other nasty things. I did some google searches on it and found some ideas to fix. I looked in the registry for it and was unable to find it. Does anybody have an idea where to look in the registry. I am having the problem on both XP and 2000. Any ideas or suggestions will be highly appreciated.

 

Nope, your homepage is correct. Something at startup triggers it. I have found that if I kill the windows.exe process that it stops it from happening. Also have to go through the registry and remove it from there too. I think I solved my own question, but atleast people may be able to google search and give it a try too. I think it also has something to do with the "Startpage" trojan. Just some thoughts. Though when I killed the process and deleted the registry keys by searching for "windows.exe" it stopped the page from opening at boot up.
