Redirected when selecting google links

When I do a google search such as "pneumothorax" I receive several suggested links. Sites such as "mayoclinic.org", "nln.org", etc. When I chose a reputable site I am taken to obscure sites such as "luckyresults.com". Prior to running the steps you have provided it was happening all of the time. I could hit the back button and approximately 1 in 3 attempts I would finally get to the sight I wanted. After performing the "read and run me first" steps I thought it was fixed. I continued running a few searches and within four or five separate searches the problem has reappeared. I am attaching all of the files you have requested. Please let me know what my options are.

This has been occuring for about the last month. I have tried resolving it to no avail and am at my wits end.

I have created one zip file attached that has all of the log files your instructions requested. If I need to attach them separately please let me know and I will do so.

Welcome to Major Geeks!

You have a possible MBR infection. We will need to boot to the Recovery Console ( you installed it while you installed ComboFix) to remove this infection.

Now boot to the Recovery Console and run the fixmbr to clear a Master Boot Record infection that you have.

After running the fixmbr command and boot back to normal mode, continue with the below.

Download the current version of combofix.exe and save it to your Desktop and then shutdown all protection software and run it again like you did last time. Attach the new log.
