redoing my machine

    hi, im going to redo my whole system. im going to put in a new c: drive and redo windows XP from scratch.. only problem is i dont have the original motherboard cd-rom or driver for my network card. will if i redo the machine do i have to have to have those disk or will windows XP be able to find them or can i download them from the website....cause im using a wireless base station with routers so i want to be able to use the network card to plug them inot to use internet and stuff..

    Depends... If your machine was built pre-XP drivers will be included. A good rule of thumb is to throw driver CD's away because they are already outdated by the time you get them. Find the drivers pre-format and make a new CD so your prepared after install.

    I see you have 2 other threads on this topic, it is wise to only have 1 topic as answers will all get jumbled up and will not only be hard for you to follow but will be a nightmare for us to keep track of what advice has been given previously..... if people have to start looking between 3 threads they will not post answers
