reference manager

When using reference manager's cite while you write feature, for some reason I shows the complicated field text. I can right click on it and toggle it back and it shows just the reference # which is what I want, but I have to write click on every single one of them. There has to be a quicker way to do this right?

That will probably be your best bet towards obtaining a solution for your problem.

 

I checked the online manual and a search of the etire document did not have a "toggle field" anywhere

 

I wouldn't take that as an indication that the function isn't there; they could refer to it as something else. I'd keep looking if I were you.
