referrals to Majorgeeks

I have been helping in the answers.yahoo.com page a bit. It works by the poster asking a question and someone can post one answer. Whenever there is a question that is too complicated for a simple answer, I usually refer them to majorgeeks.com and bleepingcomputer.com (so I don't look too biased).

I wonder if I could get in trouble for doing that. I'm sure yahoo doesn't appreciate me sending their users to other sites.

 

If they did mind they would have mailed you by now. I don't use yahoo answers, but to post one needs an ID to log in. I think they figured, that you are linking to more apt sites.

It's common to list other sites on yahoo answers, it even asks for the " source of your answer " so I think it's preferred.

 

I think it's great that you send people here and I am sure Yahoo does not mind. I am sure they have checked it out and know people get REAL answers here, not the nonsense many people post on Yahoo Answers, you are doing a public service!
