Reformating HP. Pavilion 520W?

    I have a HP. Pavilion 520W with xp home sp2. I bought the os. on disk from HP.,it came on seven cds. I think it has everything that was installed on the computer new,including bonzo buddy. I just wish to install the os. not all the other crap. Has anybody had experence with the HP. disks if so what I would like to know is this possible ?

    Bonzo Buddy likely DID NOT come with the HP computer.

    Bonzo Buddy is what I could call "Legacy Spyware". It has been around looooooong time.

    If you are looking to reinstall, just use the discs that read "Software Restore" or something like that. They should have the HP logo right on them.

    T he disk are labeled system recovery 1 through 7,I don't think it should take 7 disk just for the operating system,I just assumed there must be a lot of junk on there too.
