reformatted comp, having messenger service popups!

    recently i had to reformat my hard drive because of a trojan downloader. last time i reformatted i found a program on majorgeeks.com that turned off messenger service popups. does anyone know the name of the program? thanks!

    Goto Start-->Run-->Services.MSC

    Then look for the "Messenger" Service. Double click it, Press the stop buitton, and change it to disabled.

    SP2 automatically disables the messenger service for you ;)
