reformatted hard drive

So far I haven't read any posts about this so please don't be upset if there is one there...I just reformatted my hard drive ,went to dell for the drivers successfully ..all drivers installed except ethernet driver cannot figure out why even after d/l three times any advice

It would help if you gave the model number of the computer and if possible the service tag number also.

Did you get the drivers from Dell based on model or service tag?

The service tag should get you the correct driver. It shows an Intel driver. Do you know if it's 10/100 or 10/100/1000?

 

yes I got all the drivers from dell and i believe it was 10/100 but for some reason it wont install..all the rest did though

 

According to your computer's specs you have a Integrated Intel 10/100 Ethernet/Intel 82562ET (10/100).

Download this driver.

First is for 32 bit. This is assuming you have XP.

Glad it is fixed. Yeah, sometimes the drivers Dell provides suck.
