I reformatted my Ibm laptop with Xp and now I can't get wireless

Hi and Welcome

Sadly you will need to give us some more info that IBM and XP as the issue is likely a driver one as you have reformatted and re-installed Windows XP, but

What Service Pack is your Windows XP at?
What is the model of your IBM PC?
What devices in Device Manager have yellow ! marks next to them?

These bits of info will help us help you find the actual drivers for your model of IBM PC which will likely help make your Wireless work.

If you don't know all of the info above then the below guide may help you find this info, please do run it and attach the log as written.

Download the free, Speccy HERE then run Speccy and click File > Save as Text File, then attach the log as per instructions below (note: as Speccy also now lists more data it likely will have your Windows licence serial key also in the log, so look for Operating System and under that Serial Number and delete the code and Save the log)
