i have a thinkpad 760 laptop (i know i know) that i use only for a couple of reading games for my son, and such. I had installed 2000, but it ate so much memory (there aint much in the first place) that i decided to go back to 95, since i dont need to do a whole lot. anyway, i reformatted the drive, and booted, but it refuses to read the cd drive or the floppy. i finally got the a drive to work, and now it says that the boot file wont work in dos mode. HELP. all i want is the ability to play theses games, and maybe, just maybe, email. thanks

If I remember, Win95 wasn't a bootable CD like XP and 2000 (I could be very wrong)
and you will need to create a startup disk with CDROM support...
something like the Win98 Startup disk should work fine.
By default it looks like FDISK will be on the floppy (or you can create your own)
Boot up off of the floppy. use FDISK to create a primary partitions and then run the setup prog. from the CD.

    Hope that helps a bit....
