Refurbished video cards?

Anyone have any experience buying a refurb video card? I've bought some refurbished hardware before (hard drives, printers, memory) and haven't had any problems. Just wanted to get some opinions on video cards. As always, any input is appreciated.

 

not had any experiences but if it comes with the same warranty and you can RMA it I dont see why not,If the refurb has been done by a 3rd party company you will probably have to rma it to them as the original manufacturer will say its been tampered with.

 

I've never heard of a refurbished video card, at least not on it's own.

Still, as long as the price is okay and it has some sort of warranty, I don't see why not either.

How much are they charging and for what if I may ask, or are you just asking a general question?

I get my tax rebate soon, so if the card is still in stock by then, I'll probably get it.

That's an okay card, only thing I would check is the warranty.

 

looks good but I don't like neweggs returns policy and just try sayin "8 dead pixels to Insomniac"I don't see any return policy at all,what did they refurb,took the heatsink off and crazy glued it back on?its the OG heatsink but only asus as far as I know make a 6800gt with only 128mb memory which prob wont cut it when you get to higher resolutions and more texture's its also only running at 700mhz as opp to 1000mhz so its not quite a 6800gt but for $244 some people sell them secondhand for that much!
