Reg Cleaner/Reg Seeker

This is actually a two part question.

First, I installed this so I could completely remove IncrediMail from my computer (finally) but I want to make sure I'm doing it right. Is there someone out there that could take me through the basic steps of using this to delete all the IncrediMail stuff. Or point me in the direction of a thread that has it laid out. I did a search but didn't see anything that explained it very well.

Second, is there somewhere that explains all that I can do with this program? How I can use it to keep my computer cleaned up, etc. It seems as though it might be useful to run periodically but I'd like to know what I'm doing. Thanks!

 

I assume you are referring to the registry cleaning part of Reg Seeker rather than a program called Reg Cleaner. If that is the case then PROVIDED THAT
you deinstalled incredimail and need to get everything out of registry still remaining then Reg Seeker should do the job for you. Just make sure that there is some reference to incredimail on what Reg Seeker finds. Then consign the entry to delete after ensuring that Reg Seeker has been optioned to make a backup of everything you delete. Reg Seeker is a good little progam but can be over-enthusiastic in what it wants to get rid of and the message here is if in doubt -don't delete. That said Reg seeker will quickly reinstall anything you delete if you find that it was a mistake in the first place. But generally you have to reboot for the reinstalled bit can be read by the registry.
I have no knowledge of incredimail - but I hope this points you in the right direction.
