I have a .reg file sitting in My Documents folder (cc_20090201_103616.reg). Wonder if I should/can delete it? Thanks.

    Hey,

This is a CCleaner backup registry file either you or someone using your PC has made when running CCleaner's registry cleaner. It is completely harmless, and is used in case, when running CCleaner, you deleted some important registry. I have tons of these in my documents. Deleting it is largely up to you, and remains largely inconsequential.

    Hope this helps!

Since this backup from CCleaner was made Feb. 1st 2009, I think it is probably safe to delete. The first numbers show the year, month and day that the registry backup was made.
I usually keep a few around but no more than 3 or 4 then I start to erase the older ones.
