Reg Svr32 error message

I'm getting a Reg Serv32 message:

This is a HP Pavilion dvb-3236nr Entertainment PC notebook computer, 64bit, Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1.

I Googled ikrxssqg.dll and could not find out anything about it. Not sure what caused this error message to start popping up, but someone else worked on this pc recently and ran some maleware programs including CCleaner and Malewarebytes. I'm thinking maybe they "cleaned" something that they shouldn't have.

Anyone know how I can restore this file and computer?

 

Are you certain you have the correct name of the dll file posted here? It would seem that if you did, something would show in Google which would lead to a Microsoft page about the dll file.

You could try running sfc /scannow from an elevated command prompt (run as administrator). It may ask for the Windows installation CD

 

Download and install ccleaner.
http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/ccleaner_standard.html
Run ccleaner, click on Startup, and look for that .dll under File. Click disable. Reboot. See if that error comes up.

Also, you can go to add/remove programs look for anything intel related and repair install them.

Yes, i have a bit of clean up on my start items myself. :-D

 

Thanks for the responses. I don't have the laptop in my possession at the moment, so It might be a while till I can check these things and update, but I will let you know when I can.
