Ok.It's not a problem,I'm only interested why I can reply in malware section, regarding Becci"s problem. All I want to say that even if she or he solve the problem the only thing why Stop Zilla show the trace of the virus is cos they're in systen restore, and turning off will deletethe trace, cos it will apeare anytime whem the comp is restarted.Resart and turning back on it's the rest of the process.HOw to tell them about this?

    Hi Goran,

Only Moderators can post to any thread in Malware. Members can only post to their own thread. It's a restricted forum so not to confuse user, get off track, interfer w/moderator instructions, bumping, etc.

There are many reasons from what I've seen, but bottom-line is that it works for them :) and keeps order in a very busy forum.

    Hi Goran

The reasons for you not being able to post in malware in another thread are listed in these two quotes from me and MA

Although they are in System Restore, its best not to toggle SR on/off to flush the restore points until the end ( the malware in a restore point is dormant unless you restore the point, but they will show in scans, those are no major issue ) the reason we dont advise users to turn SR off at the beginning of malware cleaning is that if for some reason soemthing goes wrong in removals, an infected restore point is better than none.

no it's not on the begining,it's in the end ,cos they done with cleaning,so the only part were the virus can be even if they cean up the comp is SR.But as you say Im irrelevant in this matter,so I will stay away from this section.Respect for all of you great frends!!

PS: This is my favorite forum.LONG LIVE MG!!!

No your not irrelevant, your opinions are good, its just worth keeping the SR points until the malware is gone from everywhere else as the ones in SR are dormant until you use a restore point if you dont all they do is show up in AV scans, once all malware is gone then its best to turn off SR and flush those, create a new SR point and your hopefully back in business.
